Lorelei -- Whatever happens on Tuesday, we know there's work to be done in the fight for a stable climate, and that our work is best done in community. So we hope you'll join us on Wednesday, November 7th, for our monthly general meeting. Remember that our potluck dinner now starts at 6:30pm. Sign up to bring a dish if you can! (And please bring your own water bottle, mug and plate if you're able, though we'll have spares on hand.) During dinner, we'll have a chance to learn about the next big fossil fuel fight for our region: fracked gas. While the industry has spent millions of dollars to convince us otherwise, we know that gas is dirty, dangerous, and driving climate chaos. In the last few years, we've seen dozens of proposals for massive fracked gas pipelines and facilities, like Tacoma LNG and the Kalama methanol refinery. It's time to get the dirty truth out about fracked gas - join us to learn about gas myths, what's ahead in the fights against fracked gas, and how you can get involved. After dinner, stick around to learn more about our current campaigns, upcoming events, and ways to take action throughout the month. Here's all the details: What: 350 Seattle General Meeting When: Wednesday, November 7th.
