General Meeting Wednesday: Is a fossil-free Amazon possible?

350Seattle.org

Lorelei --

This December, Amazon will release nearly 4 million metric tons of CO2 into the atmosphere, as it delivers 20% of its 5 billion yearly packages during the winter holidays. That makes it a prime (ahem) moment to consider the company's climate impacts, and to join 350 Seattle's efforts to push Amazon to be a leader in the transition off fossil fuels.

Join us this Wednesday, December 5th, at our monthly meeting, for a peek into the work of our Amazon team. Hear how tech workers are taking action at the company, and how you can support them in their action for a livable climate.

Remember that our potluck dinner now starts at 6:30pm. Bring a dish if you can! And please bring your own water bottle, mug, and/or plate if you're able, though we'll have spares on hand.

After dinner, stick around to learn more about other current campaigns, upcoming events, and ways to take action throughout the month.

Here are the details:

When: Wednesday, November 7th: Doors open at 5:30, new volunteer orientation is at 5:45, and the meeting and dinner are at 6:30
