General Meeting Wednesday: A New Year for a Green New Deal!

Lorelei -- What's the deal with the Green New Deal? Join us this Wednesday, January 2nd (yes, the day after New Year's!) to find out. Hear from local organizers working with the Sunrise Movement in pursuit of a national plan to transition to 100% renewables and provide a federal jobs guarantee at the same time; be inspired by this powerful youth-led movement; get updates on the most recent congressional shenanigans, and get connected to work here on the ground in Seattle. Remember that our potluck dinner now starts at 6:30pm. Bring a dish if you can! And please bring your own water bottle, mug, and plate if you're able, though we'll have spares on hand. After dinner, stick around to learn more about our other campaigns, upcoming events, and ways to take action throughout the month.
