Lorelei -- On Friday, we laid a fifty-foot pipeline and simulated an oil spill in JPMorgan Chase's regional HQ. Now we are asking you to do two things to help us continue the momentum: - Share our wrap-up video on social media
- Use this script to call Jamie Dimon
Almost 90,000 people watched the livestream of Friday's action. Now can you help us spread this action even further by sharing our wrap-up video? We were at Chase on Friday because it just granted a $1.5 billion loan to TransCanada, a corporation that is not only trying to ram through the Keystone XL pipeline against the wishes of tribes, landowners and the courts, but is also attempting to bulldoze a Unis'to'ten First Nations healing center in order to build a huge fracked gas pipeline. Can you also call Jamie Dimon to demand that this is the last loan that Chase gives to this heinous corporation? A call script and talking points are here. Along with 350.org, we have generated over 1,000 phone calls and 20,000 emails to Chase leadership this week. We know that Chase executives are paying attention―they have told us so. And we know how we win: We keep the pressure up. Every phone call adds to the pressure, can you take a few minutes to call Jamie Dimon today and demand that Chase stops funding climate disaster? For as long as Chase profits from the destruction of our planet, we will continue to do everything we can to keep the pressure up and to shed light on the bank's role in the climate crisis―you can do that today by calling Jamie Dimon and sharing our wrap-up video. In solidarity,
