Video: Achieving 100% renewable energy starts here

10 years to achieve 100% renewable energy.

Dear Lorelei,

We have 10 years to transition to 100% renewable energy.

No matter where you live or who you are, the scientists behind the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC) report agree: we have just over 10 years to keep temperatures from warming above 1.5 C and avoid the most catastrophic effects of climate change.

It's a global threat that requires a global response. But that is 350's greatest strength. Already, everywhere from South Africa to Brazil to Japan, our staff are facing enormous odds, and still putting everything on the line to demand a swift and just transition to 100% renewable energy.

Staff around the world recorded this quick video to show you how people power is building momentum for a renewable energy future in 2018, and share how we plan to scale up our fight in 2019 – with your support.

Ours is a movement that refuses to wait on politicians or the market to save us. You can make a difference in so many ways—by protesting in the streets, organizing in your community, or chipping in whatever money you can spare.

We have to keep up the momentum. Will you help us keep it going into 2019 and beyond with a $10 donation today?

There's no denying that 10 years is a short window of opportunity. But as we scale up the fight of our lives, remember to look to the folks who are in this fight with you on the front lines and see just how much we can accomplish when we work together around the world.

Thank you,

Olivia
