Tell Governor Inslee: Be a climate champion!

Lorelei --

As you've probably heard, it's all but certain that Governor Inslee will be running for President—in part because he wants to make sure the presidential contenders address climate change.

He's off to a pretty good start; he recently pledged not to take any fossil fuel money. But if he wants to be a climate champion, what's he doing tacitly supporting dirty fracked gas infrastructure in Washington State?

We know what he should be doing:

But so far, Jay Inslee has remained silent on the Tacoma LNG facility. And we know for sure that supporting fracked gas is not compatible with being a climate champion.

So throughout the campaign, we'll be doing our best to push the governor to be his best self. We'll make it clear we know what it means to be a climate champion, and we expect him to level up.

Can you urge him to be a real climate champion?

Because this is no time to mince words,
Stacy Oaks, 350 Seattle

PS Ready to help push? Come to a birthday party we're holding for him on February 12, where we'll deliver 130,000 public comments against fracked gas, and make sure he knows that climate champions don't support dirty gas infrastructure.
